Now, you might be wondering why some stores will not allow dogs when their company policy states they are pet-friendly.
Well, that has a lot to do with access.
Sometimes, such as in the case with stores in malls, you cannot access the entrance without going through another public place.
And those places can have a no-dog policy.
So in essence, you cannot get to the store with your dog.
Thankfully, some stores in malls have their own outside entrance.
In other contexts, malls allow pets, or the stores are outside – so it can work.
Most of the time; you should be good to take your dog to Joann Fabrics.
Although, using the store finder, calling or contacting ahead is probably best.
That way you will know for sure and can make other arrangements, should the need arise.
Or, you could visit a Joann’s that will allow you for a much more enjoyable experience for all involved, even if it requires a little bit of driving.
